Yo Yo Yo!

Hello there!
My name is Phil... Relatively new Linux user who has discovered that computing can be fun again. I guess after MS took over the world I had lost my passion for it. I am old(er) school from days gone by. My first comp was a TRS-80 Color Computer 2 and my FAVORITE was my Commodore Amiga 500.
That said, I have found Linux and all that excitement and passion is back again. I am currently running Ubuntu Gutsy but am modding it to suit me. I am a web designer and a CAD designer. I also volunteer at FREE GEEK. My goal is to make my own personal distro. I figure the best way to learn is to jump in WAY over my head!

Hey, my first computer was an MC-10, followed by a CoCo2 and finally a CoCoIII. I still have my III packed up in my office and ready to setup again when I get some space for it. Computers were fun back then, and getting to be that way again with Linux. I had a bit of an advantage having used OS9 all those many years ago. In some ways, computers have not really advanced that much.
