Tuxcaster

Ok this is something that I have been throwing around in the #linuxbasement and #linuxoutlaws on the irc.freenode.net server.

What is Tuxcaster?
Tuxcaster is a website to aggregate all the linux podcasts into one site discuss linux podcasts. It will also have master ogg and mp3 feeds that will allow someone to suscribe all the linux podcasts in one feed.
I am doing a really crappy job of expaining it, but I will try to expain it more.  If you are interested drop into #tuxcaster on irc.freenode.net or shoot me an email at alex(at)dwmt.org

nice idea dude

As i said dude, nice idea.  Might be worth using Twitter, and maybe jabber or something.

Get Chad to do a wee mention of it on his podcast, and fab and dan on the outlaws you may get some volunteers.

I would offer some of my time however i'm pretty busy with the local linux stuff here, and coursework but maybe over the summer when my work load is a little lighter.  Also dude drop over to our site, feel free to register and make a wee post about it there, url in my signature.  In addition pop over to our mailing list as well Chad and Pete will vouch that there's a lot of freindly knowledgable people over there that maybe able to help and advice.  URL for tayLUG mailing list is https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/dundee make sure if you sign up to send an email saying hi so we can all say hi back dude, we're open to everyone there

I like this idea as well.

I like this idea as well.  It'd actually be pretty cool to set it up to stream.  I was running Orb for a while and streamed my iTunes folder to my mobile all the time (until it distracted me at work).

An idea like this where you could stream from any device that had internet access w/o having to download and store maybe?
