OLPC XO Laptop

Something kinda cool showed up in my email today. I'd requested a few XO laptops some months back and I'd generally figured that I wasn't going to get them until today. They're shipping two to me despite the description of what I was going to put them through and the assurance that I'd buy two of the machines as I wasn't going to be gentle with them. I'm really looking forward to playing with them now.

Wow man how did you score that?? Hey I tried to email you today and the emails bounced back at me. It looks like some kind of port not open or NAT problem. Just so you know I did get your emails but they were caught in my spam filter so I will get you in next episode:)
Dang I want an XO so bad... but um, I make no money hehehe.

If you look on the wiki there is an email form you can send them requesting hardware for development or testing. It seems they liked my idea as they're sending me two without having me pay.
The email problem is a bit odd. I do know dreamhost was having problems over the weekend and I couldn't even get to the site so it may have been that. It's a pitty, I really like dreamhost but the reliability of late has me less than happy.
