Hello from Lincoln, United Kingdom
Hello Guys,
I've been hanging on the IRC channel [nick:corenominal] for a couple of days and so I thought it was about time I introduced myself. My name is Philip Newborough and I'm a web developer and Linux enthusiast from Lincoln in the UK.
I've been a Linux user since about 1999 and started with SUSE Linux before moving to Caldera, and then RH, and then Fedora, and then Ubuntu, before finally creating my own Ubuntu remaster called CrunchBang Linux :)
I started a new blog last year where I post mainly about coding, design & GNU/Linux. Posts mainly relate to Ubuntu and CrunchBang. If you're interested you can take a look here: http://crunchbang.org/
I've been listening to Chad's podcast for the last couple of months, I think I heard about it from TLLTS guys. I'm enjoying the show and find it very entertaining. Looking forword to Chad's recent annoucement of dropping the Drupal theme in favour of a more rounded Linux show, should be good.
Anyhow, be sure to say, "Hi" if you see me about, I'm always up for a chat with fellow Linux users. Oh and one last thing, I've been told that I have a rather dry sense of humour, so please don't take offense at anything I say on IRC :D
Peace,
Philip.

Awesome to have you Philip.
Awesome to have you Philip. It's good to have someone with a dry sense of humor, it keeps us all on our toes. Dude the elvish version of linux looks crazy, I'm going to have to check that out a bit. See you in IRC!
