Hello From ddrplayer512

Hello! I'm ddrplayer512, and I had subscribed to the Linux Basement podcast from Episode 2 due to the recommendations from the Linux Reality Podcast and the Going Linux Podcast. I enjoy using Linux. I currently have a Compaq laptop with an Intel Core Duo (the first one) and a 1GB of RAM, I currently dual-boot Windows Vista Business and Mandriva One 2008, while using VirtualBox to run Ubuntu Gutsy and Debian Etch as Virtual Machines in Windows. I not an expert in Linux, but I wouldn't consider myself a new user. I guess I'm just a Windows/Linux user. I strike a balance between using Windows XP and Vista with Office 2003 and OpenOffice.org and using Linux to have fun computing. I love this podcast and I find Chad's discussions get me to expirement with Linux more and more. I hope to contribute a little bit in the forums and I hope that I will stay subscribed to the podcast. So here's my first post in what will be many posts in the future.

I hope to see everyone around!! ;)
