Greeting from Oakmont Pennsylvania

Hello from a suburb of Pittsburgh PA.  I am located about 15~17 miles from the point along the Allegheny River.  I have been tinkering with Linux for several years now mostly with Red Hat and SuSe.  I have become a recent convert to Ubuntu, more specifically Kubuntu, and it is now the main operating system I use when at home.
I use Windows systems at work but have found that Linux has put the “fun” back into computers as a hobby for me.  I am an amateur radio operator, call sign WA3FKG, and when I have time a blogger.

I look forward to meeting and talking with other Linux users.  While currently comfortable with installing and using Linux on a daily basis I have much to learn and welcome any help that I can find on the various forums like this one.

Great to have you aboard! I

Great to have you aboard! I went to college my first time round in Fredonia NY, just north of Pitt. Been to pit several times. Its been a long time since I've heard Allegheny hehehe.
Hope we can help you in your journey with linux, and thanks for signing up!
