Good Dock?

Does anyone know of a really good dock for Gnome?  I've tried kiba-dock and AWN, but I didn't really like them too much.  Kiba-dock was too buggy and slow and I just didn't like the style of AWN.  I really like rocket dock on Windows, but I haven't been able to find anything similar on Gnome.  I guess I could just waste a year or so of my life persuading the creators of rocket dock that Linux is way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way better than Windows and that they should develop it for Linux instead but that just doesn't sound too appealing to me.

Every time I try using a dock, I find it to be more of an annoyance than anything. 
I WANT to use one because it looks cool, but it seems that setting up a quick launch toolbar in Windows or just putting my shortcuts on a panel in Gnome or KDE is so much more effective. 
If I had to use one, AWN seems to be the winner though...
