In The News:
Dell will be offering Ubuntu Server

Linux Foundation early findings on a survey taken:
Ubuntu once more easily led the pack, at 55.4 percent
http://www.desktoplinux.com/news/NS9488592005.html

"Given a choice of applications to run on their Linux desktops, most users would prefer to run a native Linux application rather than a Windows application. In particular -- Adobe take note -- Linux users continue to really want Linux versions of Adobe's Photoshop and Dreamweaver. These were numbers one and three on the Linux users' Windows application migration wish list. Autodesk's AutoCAD was number two."
Software Picks and Reviews:
Agave - A color Scheme designer for the Gnome Desktop
GOS - Great to see linux desktop being sold in wallmart. From a linux user perspective the OS is very good looking, based on Ubuntu, and has a neat set of packages by default. If I were brand new to Linux, I would probably hate it because I found the enlightenment desktop to have some flaws that could cause a casual computer user to bang their head against the wall.
