More on your VA Open Classroom ordeals and triumphs please

Hey Chad,

Milestones in Drupal

We've got a Drupal site on which users maintain notes on product development projects, leave comments, etc. and the user base would like to add milestones to function in a similar way that comments function (many milestones for any given project).  We have CCK and Views primarily driving the function of the site but can't seem to figure out how to implement a "one project - many  milestone" one-to-many relationship.

Any ideas out there?  Anyone done something similar?

MRTG on Ubuntu Server

Lets start by installing the goods. Then we will get into the meat of things.

apt-get install snmpd mrtg apache2

When installing MRTG it will ask if you want to only make /etc/mrtg.cfg readable by the MRTG user. In my case, this will be an internal server only, and I do not need to worry about security, so I am going to select NO. If you choose YES, the steps in this tutorial may not work. I have not tested this. However, keep in mind if security is a concern, you may want to go this route and keep MRTG contained in a non-root user environment.

Opening POP Port

I've got Exim4 running on my server. When I was running Debian on an older system it worked fine. Under Linux Mint on a newer and much faster computer it is not. It appears that port 110 is being blocked, even though it looks open in both IPtables and Firestarter. Any ideas?
